THE POWER OF A COOLER CLIMATE

Belgium’s cooler climate presents both a challenge and an opportunity for crafting high-quality wines. Winemakers carefully adapt their grape varieties, techniques, and methods to the local terroir, while constantly innovating. In doing so, they elevate their sparkling wines to exceptional heights.

WHAT’S THE SECRET OF THE TRADITIONAL METHOD?

A bottle of BelBul is crafted just like champagne, using the traditional method. After an initial fermentation of the grapes into still wine, a second fermentation takes place in the bottle — this is where the bubbles are born. The wine is then aged for at least 9 months on its lees, in the cellar, developing delicate effervescence, complex flavors, and an intense bouquet.

Once this resting period is complete, the sediment is removed through disgorgement. This artisanal process results in a wine that is pure and elegant — perfect for life’s most treasured moments.

LOCAL AND SUSTAINABLE

In Belgian vineyards, quality goes hand in hand with sustainability. From environmentally conscious grape cultivation to energy-efficient production methods, Belgian winemakers make a deliberate choice for a future where people, nature, and craftsmanship thrive in harmony. The result is a sparkling wine as pure in taste as it is in origin.

INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION

Belgian sparkling wines are also making their mark on the international stage, winning prestigious awards and turning heads across the globe. Their signature? Elegance, freshness, and refined aromas.
